The world has become an increasingly visual place. At a glance we decide what is interesting for us, what to read, whom to talk to. Meanwhile, the tools for creating visual images and designs have become available to everybody, while many forget that good design happens not on a computer but with an idea, a sheet of paper with a pencil and with experience.
Aris Venetikidis, M.A. has worked as a graphic designer and photographer in Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands and Austria. He taught at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin and enjoyed helping small and medium size companies find their visual identities. He also ran a small photography studio where he explored new and more personal ways of creating photos that often tell stories.
Currently in Vienna, Aris is excited about meeting other global minds and exploring creative opportunities.
Aris spontaneously decided to assist Maria Petrak from the "Best of Vienna" Project and designed the layout for the "Best of Vienna Calendar 2012/2013". Feel free to browse some of Aris' other work and photography at www.arisv.com.
