The interior decoration is modern, the menu is INCREDIBLE, the food is delicious, a cook will make noodles for you at the table, Dominik and Suli are the perfect hosts and the location is in the 23rd district corner Valentingasse

Let's start with Ra Mien! Unbelievable place in the Gumpendorferstr 9.

Upstairs is a food place...but the bar/disco downstairs is very cosy...like a chinese "House". Great cocktails and a fantastic proprietor Hoomer.

Next door is the "Shanghai tan" with the cook from "Dots" and specializes in vietnamese and Japanese food...

Leider etwas teuer, dafür aber unglaublich gut! Mediterrane Küche. Schaut von außen nicht wie ein Restaurant aus, aber drinnen ist's dann ur gemütlich!

Also für Rindfleisch Gerichte gibts in Wien nur eine Adresse "zum Renner" Nussdorferplatz 4 1190 Wien. Alles Top vom Tafelspitz über Zwiebelrosbraten zu Steaks: Nachspeisen und Getränkekarte. Bin dort schon mehr als 20 Jahre Stammgast. Am Abend unbedingt reservieren. Im Sommer genialer Innenhof !!

Auf Deutsch:

Margarita Kagalovskaja ist 22 Jahre alt und wohnt seit 3 Jahren in Wien. In Kiew geboren, ist sie mit drei Jahren nach Deutschland gezogen und dort aufgewachsen. Sie hat 17 Jahre in Bayreuth gelebt. Schon seit ihrer Kindheit hat Margarita viele Sprachreisen unternommen, hat rhythmische Sportgymnastik gemacht und war danach 6 Jahre Cheerleader. In beiden Sportarten hat sie an den bayerischen Meisterschaften teilgenommen. Ihre Cheerleader-Mannschaft wurde 2006 Bayerischer Meister!

2008 ist Margarita nach Wien gezogen, um hier an der Universität Wien Transkulturelle Kommunikation zu studieren. Sie spricht 5 Sprachen, reist viel und lernt gerne neue Menschen und Kulturen kennen. Das war auch der Grund für die Wahl ihres Studiums und wieso sie in das The Best of Vienna Team perfekt passt. Seit einigen Jahren ist sie im Sommer für die VIP-Betreuung Prominenter und hochrangiger Politiker bei den Bayreuther Wagner-Festspielen zuständig.

Neben dem Studium ist Margarita als Model tätig. Alles begann mit der Look Model Challenge, die zusammen mit der heute-Zeitung veranstaltet wurde. Als  eine der Gewinnerinnen dieser Challenge war sie bis August 2011 bei Look Models International unter Vertrag.

Margarita hatte bereits mehrere Shootings und Fashionshows, unter anderem für Edith A’gay, Bipone, Cassida, Pop’s Shoes, Edition-K, Louisa Okonye, Shoetation u.a.

Margarita sagt: "Das Projekt bei "The Best of Vienna" hat mich von Anfang an begeistert, weil es nicht nur die Vorzüge der Stadt aufzeigt, sondern auch Menschen auf der ganzen Welt zusammenbringt! ¿Como te ves tú a ti misma?

A esta altura de mi vida me siento más madura en mis actos, logro verme más  tranquila, mas  controlada, más justa o  al menos los intento con más vehemencia, estoy  llena de esperanzas sobre las metas que cada etapa de mi vida futura, a mis 40 años  esta maravillosa etapa que me toca vivir hoy me lo quiero gozar y disfrutar de comienzo al final sin pena, ni prejuicios, me siento libre una mujer que tiene muchas energías  para seguir proyectando y haciendo  con mi familia y profesión con toda la pasión que como buena latina logro meter en mis actos.

¿Puedes decirme sobre valores más importantes para ti en tu vida?

La honestidad, el sentido de justicia, la humanidad,  son los valores que me interesa mucho no perder nunca;  María yo he viajado mucho y me ha tocado vivir en diversas ciudades de algunos países de Europa, trabajando en algunos de ellos en el campo social, y lamentablemente es cuando recién uno se da cuenta que muchos de los valores con las cuales hemos sido educados con el tiempo se pierde, nos dejamos envolver por el frenético  vaivén del sistema y terminamos muchas veces deshumanizándonos , perdemos nuestro sentido de justicia y actuamos a razón de metas y llegar a conseguirlo se convierte “ el fin justifica los medios”  el egoísmo prevalece antes que la sinceridad en las relaciones , somos deshonestos hasta con nosotros mismos, porque no razonamos vamos hacia adelante sin importarnos siquiera que si la “lucecilla” se enciende y nos da la alerta que algo no está bien, igual seguimos, creo es muy importante a veces pararse y ver hacia atrás  hacer un mea culpa, entender que la vida es solo una  que  lo que hoy hacemos serán las huellas que nuestros descendientes  un día  gozaran o sufrirán.

Tu familia es muy grande, como esta ser una madre y tener un negocio en el mismo tiempo?

Si, tengo una familia para el promedio europeo  bastante grande: 5 hijos, una nieta y otro “piccino” por venir. La verdad mis hijos mayores  viven en el Perú y ya uno está casado, el que me ha dado a mis primeros nietitos, el otro sigue su carrera en comunicaciones,  los 3 últimos son las pequeñas grandes razones de tener mi vida llena de energía constante, una especie de bendición de energía renovable… en todo lo que hago participa toda mi familia, mis hijos mayores  por suerte están en la misma línea de mi profesión, el mayor es diseñador grafico el que edita la grafica de las revistas que tenemos, junto a un grupo de ayudantes claro, el segundo es comunicador  se encarga de ver el estilo de comunicación de las páginas  webs  y redes sociales, estando lejos de ellos este tipo de trabajo nos une día día,  en realidad cuando el trabajo  se convierte en un medio de unión  para una familia que está separada  se disfruta mucho de las cosas que se desarrolla, generamos  trabajo  para gente que está muy lejos  en  otros continentes, con menores posibilidades que nosotros, encontramos en esta manera de hacer negocio, una forma de apoyo a la juventud del tercer mundo que necesita de un “empuje” una puerta abierta hacia este primer mundo para ganar un poco de experiencia que seguramente les dará un valor adicional a sus CVs.

Este  ideal es  compartido   con el hombre  que día a día me apoya con la sensatez  y pragmatismo muy austriaco, él es la parte terrenal del asunto, ya que yo soy siempre toda pasión y mucha veces me dejo llevar por el corazón en las actividades que desarrollo, por tanto sin él sería casi imposible desarrollar con prospección de futuro los proyectos que hacemos.

Latinos Magazin y Miss Latina son tus proyectos los mas importante, puedes decir algo sobre los 2?

Si son 2 proyectos importantes diría más bien Latinos Magazin es un seguir de proyectos antes ya empezados, es un medio de comunicación único en su género, es la primera y única revista latinoamericana en Austria, eso de por sí ya es bastante responsabilidad, es el medio de comunicación escrita de una comunidad que buscaba tener su voz en esta sociedad, una voz escrita que prevalezca en el tiempo, promovemos a nuestros artistas,empresarios,profesionales,actividades varias del mundo hispano, desde una perspectiva muy a nuestro estilo, queremos que se conozca la vida actual de nuestra cultura, hoy en día Latinoamérica y los Latinoamericanos  también han sufridos los cambios de la globalización, las personas emigran por las diferentes razones y motivaciones, a su misma vez muchos han hecho familias aquí , tenemos segundas y terceras generaciones, que ya la  cultura actual de un latino no es la misma que hace muchos años, hoy también se hace manifestaciones culturales  con los cambios que el pasar del tiempo dejo en nuestros descendientes, no podemos obviarlos, están existen y queremos resaltarlos promocionarlos, queremos que nuestros hijos nacidos aquí sigan manteniendo contacto con su otro origen.

Miss Latina es un proyecto que pretenderá  ser un telonero para hacer ver a nuestras mujeres latinoamericanas en su belleza total, estamos cansadas de los estereotipos “mujer latina=mujer caliente” la mujer latina es una mujer luchadora, las estadísticas de estudios sobre la inmigración hablan muchas veces de una mujer  que arriesga todo por todo por su familia, muchas son las que emigran  primero  hacia otros países para abrir camino para la llegada de el resto de su familia, ella hacen el paso mas decisivo  sacrificándose por el bien final:  su familia, eso es un valor que tiene una  mujer latina. La  mujer latina actual  estudia, es profesional, trabaja el doble para demostrar  su valor constantemente. La belleza en su significado total es eso, los valores, el alma, la capacidad humana etc. y claro si eso trasciende a la parte física  todo es muy sugestivo...un proyecto todo para ver en el futuro.

Ahora con tu nueva posición como Directora de “Comunidad Latina en The Best of  The World” empiezas contribuir con tus artículos sobre el mundo Latino de todo el mundo. Como te parece nuestra nueva alianza? 

Muchas gracias por eso María, aprecio mucho  esta oportunidad que nos das, si, será todo un reto   que intentaremos estar a la altura de las circunstancias que se nos presentara,  nuevas alianzas contigo refuerzan y estimula  el crecimiento de un trabajo en equipo que ya hemos venido haciendo contigo desde casi un año y todo en positivo, una alianza que dará mucho al lector de segmentos a los  cuales quizás aun no hemos llegado y que bien sea esta la oportunidad que nos da tu  pagina web de seguir mostrándonos como comunidad, ¡gracias otra vez por eso!

Vienes de Perú, como te guste la vida en Viena? Lo sé qué vivías en Italia, que has hecho allí? Puedes comparar la vida de en Perú con Italia y Viena?

Como diría una canción por allí:  tus olas me llevaron a mar abierto y supe navegar, hoy soy una gran capitana me desligué de ti; Si  vengo de todas partes, partí de mi amado Perú hace casi 11 años,  que puedo decir de lo que desarrolle allí, me conoces soy hiperactiva  eso ha sido siempre, soy especialista en marketing, trabaje  muchos años  en el sector  bancario, en el Interbank  del Perú, era supervisora de un grupo dedicado a promover la banca de personas,  creo es donde aprendí  a disfrutar de la adrenalina que te da la competencia sana, tenia mes a mes  un recomenzar de cero, con metas todas nuevas y motivar a equipos de diferentes edades y culturas también, era un reto que gracias a la ayuda de una gran amiga pude superar, ella creyó en mi, aprendí. A lo largo de mi vida profesional me dedique a dar asesoría en marketing a pymes y siempre recuerdo mis grandes logros como hijos que hice nacer, y cuando veo que hay algunas de ellas  hoy son grandes empresas es una satisfacción que no tiene precio, es lo que impulsa a seguir siempre. Cuando llegue  a Italia no quise parar así  aquí también me puse retos profesionales y puedo decir que logre trabajar en mi campo (INA ASSITALIA- Editora Latina – Pinoy  Club) y sacar  adelante proyectos propios, en Italia pude realizar labor social creando una organización llamada Euro Hispano de ayuda a los inmigrantes.

Viena aiii es duro  contar como me siento aquí, comienzo otra vez de cero, pero igual en los 2 años creo que pude lograr reunir a un grupo de personas que también tenían similares proyectos al mío y pudimos en conjunto sacar adelante la primera revista latinoamericana hecha en Austria  y eso me pone muy contenta en el transcurso de este gran reto he ido conociendo un poco mas mi comunidad que es muy pero muy diferente  de la donde yo venía, era quizás más difícil pero no imposible y gracias a la ayuda de muchas personas  y especialmente  a ti  María, que me ayudaste tan de la mano  hemos podido seguir de pie y seguiremos avanzando mejorando todo lo que se pueda, es difícil crecer con pocos recursos  pero allí estamos somos una muestra que queriendo se puede todo, agradezco aquí públicamente a  Justo Zamarro nuestro editor, Alan Zettelmann -co-Director, Carola Bonilla - editora de línea  y a todo el team de   personas maravillosas que creyeron y creen en esta gran aventura, que sin ellos no se hubiera podido hacer nada, me hubiera quedado con mis sueños en el cajón.

Algo para decir sobre los matrimonios inter-culturales? Cuál es tu opinión?

Se puede decir tanto, en mi experiencia estoy unida a un austriaco y tenemos nuestros maravillosos hijos, no es fácil, solo queda ser muy abierto, tener la capacidad constante de reiniciar como la primera vez, así se siente el gusto de reencontrar a aquella persona que un día te deslumbro y te enamoro, bueno, conflictos graves y fuertes siempre habrán, se piensa y actúa de diferente manera, pero en la diversidad esta la sal de la vida, hay que iniciar siempre, todo de cero en las relaciones de este tipo, sin cuentas pendientes.

Puedes dar un consejo a otras mujeres que tienen una situación similar, como pueden ayudar a su mismas?

Lo dicho antes  el ser una mujer y migrante puede colocarnos en una situación de debilidad social, pero esta en este  punto la fuerza que debemos sacar, no podemos  ni debemos dejarnos avasallar por las dificultades, a mayores retos mayores serán nuestros logros y nos sentiremos internamente mas realizadas, no debemos comenzar nuestras vidas a razón de alguien externo, sin ser egoístas debemos ser capaces de hacer nuestras propias metas y luchar por ellas, no importa que tan grande o chica sea, debemos de reconocernos capaces de lograr nuestros propios éxitos.

Cuál es tu secreto de tu vida y tu belleza, apareces muy joven y guapa?

Jajaja, son tus ojos mujer… Gracias!  No tengo secretos, solo que nunca olvido mis raíces, mi procedencia, ni quién soy,  todas las cosas que hago las hago con pasión, creo en el ser humano aunque seamos muchas veces crueles, pero igual no dejo de creer, ese amor por la vida me da vida y es lo que proyecto.

Cual son los proyectos de futuro? Tienes alguna visión que quieres compartir con nosotros o algo que es importante para ti?

Die erstmalige Präsentation der Ausstellung "Sultanat Oman - gelebte Moderne mit Tradition"  in der Rotunda der Vereinten Nationen (UN) in Wien hatte den Schwerpunkt "Religiöse Toleranz in Oman". Es war die erste Präsentation eines arabischen Landes an diesem zentralen Ort der Vereinten Nationen.

Botschafter Dr. Badr Al-Hinai hob in seiner Rede hervor: "Unsere Ausstellung stellt eine Einführung dar in kulturelle und historische Aspekte Omans sowie dessen Erfahrungen in entwicklungspolitischer Hinsicht. Sie zeigt aber auch am Beispiel Omans, wie Menschen mit verschiedenstem kuturellen und religiösen Hintergrund gemeinsam in Friede und Harmonie zusammenleben können."

Zur Eröffnung am 29. Juli waren über 70 hochranige Vertreter mehrerer Staaten und internationaler Organisationen sowie der Österreichisch-Omanischen Gesellschaft und der Deutsch-omanischen Gesellschaft anwesend. Begleitend zur Ausstellungseröffnung wurde der Dokumentafilm "Religiöse Toleranz in Oman" gezeigt, der auch während der gesamten Ausstellungszeit weiter vorgeführt wurde. Da dieser Film bereits in 8 verschiedenen Sprachversionen auf DVD vorliegt, wurde er von den Mitarbeitern der UN aus aller Welt gerne mitgenommen.

"Tolerance is something you can think about, talk about and theorize about as much as you like, but it can only be felt in person. Personalizing this experience is the method used by the director Wolfgang Ettlich in his approach to documenting the religious and Islamic culture of Oman. The viewer accompanies the film team on a tour through daily life in modern Oman, thus catching a glimpse into many aspects of society which would normally be hidden from the view of western visitors. The director is escorted by an Omani who provides background information and explains basic elements of Islam.  Islam is the official religion of Oman, ubiquitous and supported by both the state and its adherents. Other religious communities are also supported by the state and are widely accepted."
