Gewinner Designer Branding: Wendy & Jim

Testimonials

"It is very rare to find someone as enthusiastic and dedicated to their job as I consider myself to be as Manager of the singer Stephen Lloyd-Morgan. But I certainly met my match in Maria Petrak and her sheer tireless devotion to The Best of Marbella and now The Best of Vienna websites.

Soon after our first meeting in 2009 we began a promotional collaboration which, through her websites, blogs and PR networks has given me instant access to literally thousands of people while still being focused towards the most appropriate market. Far exceeding my initial expectations this relationship had not only become invaluable, but also the most important at my disposal. We wish Maria the best of luck and know her growing success is a assured."

"I am grateful to have met Maria Petrak (Founder of The Best of Marbella.com and Vienna blog) just before I became a finalist and 7 times semi-finalist with 8 lyrics I submitted in 2009 to UKSC http://www.songwritingcontest.co.uk/

Maria helped me enormously with promoting me as a lyricist through her blog articles, press releases and connecting me with some local press and media, such as radio stations and magazines as well as her personal contacts. Since then, I received great response from The Best of Marbella associates and fans via Maria´s network. I highly recommend any business or artist to advertise on her websites and can honestly say that Maria helped me to start my career. Nowadays it is all about networking and if anyone has got the finger on the pulse, it is Maria Petrak. Deep thanks from the bottom of my heart! Lucky Vienna, you have now the same opportunity!"

"Maria,
From the first time in Nueva Andalucia, when you sat and talked with me about your new idea, "The Best of Marbella," I have never doubted or lost faith in you and your determination and ultimate success, and I knew the many obstacles you had to overcome to reach this success.

You are firstly a giver, and have given much to your friends including me who you have generously helped with your beautiful website to keep my campaign for Marbella at the forefront.

Now it's your time. This idea is great and could be franchized. The Best of Vienna as well as The Best of Marbella are wondeful sites that reflect your shining prsonality. I like he way you show the Testimonials, in a fine presentational style which gives importance to those who write to you.

Keep up this great effort as you will acheive all that you wish with your spirit. Remember my campaign motto. "If you do not fight for what you have or wish, you do not deserve to have it"

Bernarda Fink, Mezzosoprano

The mezzo-soprano Bernarda Fink

Bernarda Fink, daughter of Slovenian parents, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and received her vocal and musical education at the „Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón” where she used to perform frequently. Bernarda is a notable exception: graceful, poised and intelligent, she is every inch the lady, and it's no surprise to learn that she's wife to the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina Valentin Inzko.

In February 2006 Bernarda Fink was awarded the Austrian Honorary Medal for Art and Science by the Austrian chancelor.

So she began formal vocal training at 22 in the conservatoire attached to Buenos Aires's opera house, the Teatro Colón, famous for its miraculous acoustics but now sadly closed and unsure of the future. In the 1980s she moved to Europe, but nothing much happened until she met the conductor René Jacobs, a counter-tenor of note "who understood the way my voice worked" and led her towards the baroque repertory where she has happily dwelt ever since. Bach is her desert island composer, she says, with Monteverdi second.

Acclaimed for her musical versatality, Bernarda Fink’s repertoire ranges from ancient music up to music of the 20th century. She frequently appears with such well known orchestras as the Vienna Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Orchestra of the Bavarian Radio, London Philharmonic, Czech Philharmonic, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Staatskapelle Dresden, the Cleveland Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra as well as with the best known Baroque Orchestras under such famous conductors as Herbert Blomstedt, Semyon Bychkov, Sir Colin Davis, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Valery Gergiev, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, René Jacobs, Mariss Jansons, Riccardo Muti, Sir Roger Norrington, Trevor Pinnock, Sir Simon Rattle, Jukka Pekka Saraste, Franz Welser-Möst among many others. Bernarda Fink has also appeared to wide critical acclaim in Argentina and at the main opera houses of Europe including the Teatro Real in Madrid.

Bernarda Fink regularly appears in recital at the Vienna Musikverein and Konzerthaus, Schubertiade Schwarzenberg, Concertgebouw Amsterdam and Wigmore Hall in London. She could further be heard at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels, at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris, Carnegie Hall in New York and many others. In the 2009/10 season she appeared in recitals at the Schubertiade, the Edinburgh Festival, in Santago de Compostela, Aarhus, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Paris, at the Alice Tully Hall in New York and in Philadelphia. With Genia Kühmeier she can be heard in a duo-recital at the Wigmore Hall in London, in Madrid and Brussels and together with Sylvia Schwartz, Michael Schade and Thomas Quasthoff she performs Brahms’ LIEBESLIEDER-WALTZ in Baden-Baden.

Among her highlights of the 2009/2010 season are DIDO AND AENEAS with Nikolaus Harnoncourt in Vienna, Mendelssohn’s ELIJAH in Hamburg, Mahlers II. and III. SYMPHONY with the Concertgebouw Orkest and Mariss Jansons, Perolesi’s STABAT MATER with the Berliner Barock Soloists, concerts with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and Daniel Harding, Strauss’ ROSENKAVALIER final terzet with the Staatskapelle Dresden and Fabio Luisi and Mahlers KINDERTOTENLIEDER in Brussels.

Bernarda Fink has made numerous highly acclaimed recordings. Her discography embraces almost 50 releases including Monteverdi, Handel, Bach, Rameau, Hasse, Haydn, Schubert, Rossini as well as Bruckner and Schumann. Many of them have been awarded coveted prizes such as the Diapason d’Or or the Grammy. Benarda enjoys a close collaboration with Harmonia Mundi, of which the most recent recordings include Lieder by Schubert with accompanist Gerold Huber and Bach Cantatas with the Freiburger Barockorchester.

Was kann man tun - kann man was tun ?

DANKE!

AQA – WATER WITH A HUMAN FACE©
AQA water fountain specially designed
for the “International Year of Freshwater 2003”
on behalf of the City of Vienna donated to the United Nations, Vienna International Center

AQA is a series of paintings representing the stream of life in which waterfalls serve as a metaphor. Preface to the book AQA by President Dr. Thomas Klestil. 1/111 is a piece of art comprising 111 paintings, which seen together form a unit like humanity, yet each painting seen by itself is unique like human beings, and are still only a small part of the Creation. For more information, please click on the following link.

Dr. Masuru Emoto, an internationally renown expert on water and leading Austrian Artist Hansi Dietrich have chosen an unusual place to meet on 13 November 2003 - at the water fountain "AQA - Water with a Human Face" at the Vienna International Centre (VIC). The fountain, which was donated on the occasion of the International Year of Freshwater to the VIC-based United Nations Organizations by the City of Vienna, was the brainchild of artist Hansi Dietrich. In this unique piece of functional art, the artist symbolised the trilogies of body, spirit and soul, as well as that of water, earth and light.

Dr. Emoto has conducted extensive research on water worldwide. Many of Hansi Dietrich's ideas echo the groundbreaking work done by Dr. Emoto, in that he has also tried to visualise and capture the energy carried by water in his fountain.

Copyright neoDietrich231

neoDietrich231 numerous paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures were and are still created, mostly based on the theme of ‘water’, particularly waterfalls. Neo´s paintings are mainly inspired by the strong, yellow-orange vibrating colors as well as symbols of Flower of Life. Through his art and unique art-projects, neoDietrich231 touches hearts of many people with the message of   "Love and Gratitude for all living creatures" and his mission to "Unite for Peace".

Water Swirls by neoDietrich231
"I was increasingly drawn to water and the element has taken over my life.
And my perception has changed: not only could I see into water from the outside, but I could also perceive it from within. I see with the eyes of water.
All my senses become that of water.
Everything becomes clear when looking at the microcosm of ice crystals through the eye of a cyclone.
All water is life and we human beings form a wave in the stream of time.
The sum of all waves is Creation.
I spread the canvas on succulent meadows when painting to manifest and make visible the energy of the earth and the sky, and I use spring water in these paintings. I am simply the “brush in the hand of the Creator”. My work keeps taking me to incredible heights I have never dreamt of.

For a long time now, I have been painting water waves in the colors of yellow-orange. At first I thought it to be pure chance, or, let’s say artistic license. But then I found that pure water from a deep original source vibrates to the concert pitch of ‘la’, as does the earth, the feminine, and the shade of yellow-orange.
Yes, coincidence coincided with me."

Highlights:
For the occasion of the International Peace Day on 21st of September 2008, MODUL University welcomed 60 students from 6 different cities: Belgrade, Ljubljana Podgorica, Sarajevo, Skopie and Zagreb for a presentation by President Prof. Dr. Wöber and a unique art-project by Artist Hansi Dietrich where all participants and the President Wöber were asked to put their hands on the artist´s painting in order to unite their energy with an intention of creating Peace in the World.

“Uniting for Peace in Vienna” was organized and coordinated by the City of Vienna and the PR company Compress.  At the end of this art-project, the artist divided the painting into 9 pieces to give one piece to each representative of the participating groups – the six guest cities, the City of Vienna, The MODUL University and Compress.

The aim of this project – as the name undermines – was to unite young students from different backgrounds for one objective: to increase the awareness for the importance of peace between young people from different political systems and cultural backgrounds. President Wöber presented the vision and objectives of MODUL University by highlighting the diverse student nationality mix of more than 30 countries as well as mentioning the fact that understanding for intercultural communication plays a key role in supporting the aim of uniting different cultures.
